One of the main reasons you may be having back pain is because you're picking things up the wrong way.

One of the main reasons you may be having back pain is because you’re picking things up the wrong way.  Physical Therapist from Athletico Michael Pro says several injuries can result of lifting improperly, one of which is a herniated disk pain starting in the back going down the legs.

Mike suggests to lift close to your body, put your feet shoulder width apart, and bend your knees and keep your back straight.  Then, tighten your core and use leg muscles to lift.
